Zoe had four (miniature) cornbread muffins for breakfast this morning and insisted on having a candle lit in each one. Of course we had to sing Happy Birthday to Canada with each one as well.
We spent the day at the zoo. We did not get many photos of animals but we managed to come home with a few of Zoe.She loves riding the camels! By herself!
The beaver? Canada's national animal? Really??? Can he see my painted face that I am so very proud of?
Now who's being goofy?
We stopped for an ice cream snack and had to add layers. Brrrr.
The zoo just opened a brand new "Conservation Carousel" at the front entrance. It is strategically located to get us coming and going! We obliged.
Zoe had so much fun at the zoo that Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a very quiet ride home.

Looks like a great day, especially judging by that last picture.
