Christmas With the Cousins

Early in the week, Zoe boarded an airplane headed for her Wisconsin grandparents’ house. Thanks to a kind reservations agent and a LOT of luck, we were able to avoid all of the Chicago weather consequences after our original flight (and most of the others that afternoon) through O’Hare was cancelled. Without even having to ask for it, we were rebooked with a competing airline connecting through Cleveland and arrived at Grandma’s house within 15 minutes of our original arrival time. It has been a flurry of fun, cousins, toys, cousins and fun ever since... with a Christmas tree, a visit from Santa, presents and a few chocolate kisses thrown in to top it all off.

Toronto was very white when we left. The Wisconsin white was even deeper, ensuring a crisp, white Christmas!
What a difference a day makes! Temperatures began to rise on Boxing Day. This is what it looks like the day after Boxing Day. We are guessing the next snowfall will coincide with our flights back to Toronto!

I love all the pics with the cousins!! what a cool quilt someone made too!!!

Leeza meets all her cousins on my side of the family, plus her 5 aunts and 4 uncles on Dec 31st when we fly to Arkansas to wish my sister a Happy 40th birthday. All the sibs are coming to Little Rock to celebrate.

It should be fun! Love Zoe's sweet lil dress and her bow. love her cuddling up to the bears and combing her cousin's pretty blond hair too.
