Water, Water, Everywhere!

We had a rain storm this week that flooded the playground at Zoe's school.  One theory is that a recent layer of new wood chips clogged the drain.  Whatever the reason, the playground turned into a lake. 

 

The lake was viewed with awe as children were dropped off for school.  At pick up time, however, it turned into an irresistible temptation for some.  Can you hear the squeals and giggles?

After stopping to empty their boots a couple times it dawned on them that boots hold water and, thus, would make great impromptu buckets.

It was a soggy but happy walk home.
