September opened with the start of school for both Julian and Zoe. Zoe is in Senior Kindergarten and is enjoying being one of the "big kids" as they welcome a new group of Juniors into their integrated classroom.
Along with the back-to-school routine comes after school activities. Zoe chose karate and ice skating as her two after-school classes and is loving both. She has especially taken to karate and is receiving praise from her instructor.
It is taking the full month for us to fully settle into the new routines. But we have built in plenty of down time (i.e. play time) in hopes that our fall will retain elements of relaxation and spontaneity.

Hi!
It is so wonderful to see your journey. Esp now, after 4 yrs, seeing your absolutely gorgeous daughter and how happy she is an all of you are. We are currently in the process of adopting as well. From Kaz. And cannot wait to go through the stages you already have and meet our child. The wait is just killing me. But reading blogs like yours, esp Canadian ones is very helpful.
